To find out not just why but how, I hope you’ll join me for this FREE WriteSPACE Special Event featuring Helen Kara, an independent researcher and scholar specializing in creative research methods, radical research ethics, and creative academic writing. She has produced numerous books on these topics, most recently Writing Creatively for Work or Study: Easy Techniques to Engage Your Readers, published by Manchester University Press in May 2025.
In the first hour of this two-hour event, Helen and I will engage in a lively conversation about why it’s important to write creatively, whatever our academic or professional context, and how we can infuse our writing with creativity. The second hour will consist of a hands on writing workshop based on exercises from Helen's wonderful new book.
