Welcome to Writing in Color (aka Writing in Colour), a new 6-week short course co-created and co-facilitated with my fabulous friend and colleague, acclaimed author and creativity expert Sophie Nicholls.
Over the next six weeks, Sophie and I will guide you through a series of colorful writing techniques designed to expand your thinking about the role of colour in your writing practice. (In a spirit of inclusiveness, we’re intentionally alternating between British and American spellings of color/colour).
Whatever kind of writing you do — academic or creative, personal or professional — you’ll find something new to surprise and delight you each week.

For an even more richly embodied experience, you can print out our free sequence of six colorful zines (pronounced “zeens”) and use them to record your responses to the weekly prompts, or simply to experiment and play. At the end of the course, we’ll invite you to submit photos of your creations to our celebratory Writing in Colour gallery.
